How do you generate more than 100,000 unique views to your condominium website and build an email list of more than 3,000 nearly a year before you even put a shovel in the ground?
Here’s how one urban residential developer used social media to generate pre-opening buzz, and 10 more examples of urban residential social media marketing around the country.
Backstage Toronto
This 36-story newest addition to Toronto may have just broken ground last month, but marketing started almost a year ago with an online “Name Our Condo” contest. More than 3,000 people entered to win and the contest attracted more than 100,000 unique visitors from 140 countries during the 6-week campaign. The developers followed up with a “Virtual Broker” program where anyone could register their friends and contacts on the website for a chance to win prizes.
